We sold out in 2 days for the first workshop and the requests for another keep coming through. So here it is!
This workshop is for those who need a little tender loving care and time to give back to themselves.
Using meditation and relaxation techniques we will take you on a journey inward. Leave the worries of the outside world behind and enjoy the deep connection to the energy inside. This workshop is not a movement based workshop, so there is no need to worry about physical ailments holding you back.
The workshop is centred around meditation. We will explore seated meditation and breathing techniques to take you out of a stressed state and into calmness. Followed by a reclining guided meditation and finally a Yoga Nidra where you will withdraw from the senses and take you into one of the deepest states of relaxation, a state of consciousness between waking and sleeping.
During the guided seated and reclining meditation you will receive a Indian Head Massage to stimulate the physical body take you even deeper into relaxation.
Indian Head Massage is an ancient therapeutic treatment that has been practised in India for thousands of years. Part of the Hindu health care practice of Ayurveda, Indian head massage focuses on your head (including the face), neck and shoulders and was originally used to improve scalp and hair condition. It is a deep massage, using a variety of pressure and techniques, including circular massage strokes on your scalp, deep tissue work on your shoulders, and stretching the neck.
